What you need
- Checkout suggestions and the checkout search button need Shopify Plus. Shopify lets only Plus stores extend checkout.
- The Profile-page search works on all Shopify plans that use new customer accounts.

Pricing and trial
Plus plan: $19.99 per month (checkout suggestions, checkout search button, Profile page). Accounts plan: $4.99 per month for stores not on Plus (Profile page only). Each plan has a 14-day free trial. A Plus store on the Accounts plan gets the Profile page only.
Setup
- Install the app and start a plan on the Billing page.
- Checkout suggestions (Plus): in the checkout editor, open Settings, then Address autocompletion, and select KorAddress Plus.
- Checkout search button (Plus, optional): in the checkout editor, add the KorAddress Plus search block above the shipping address.
- Profile page: in the customer accounts editor, add the KorAddress Plus block on the Profile page under the addresses.
Warning: selecting KorAddress Plus as the autocomplete provider switches off Shopify's own address autocomplete for every other country. Turn it on only if most of your orders ship to South Korea. Korean shoppers type a road name or building in the postcode (우편번호) box and pick a suggestion.
How to test
- Open your checkout and set the country to South Korea.
- In the postcode box type 테헤란로 152 and pick the suggestion. You should get postcode 06236, Seoul, city 강남구 and the street address filled in.
- Type the 상세주소 (apartment or unit) in the second address line.
- For the Profile page, log in as a customer, open Profile, use the KorAddress Plus block to search, add a name, and save. The address appears in the customer's address list.
FAQ
No suggestions appear.
Check that the store has an active plan or trial, that KorAddress Plus is selected as the autocomplete provider in the checkout editor, that the country is South Korea, and that you typed at least two characters.
What if the search is unavailable?
The address form keeps working: the shopper can type the address by hand and complete checkout.
Which value goes in City?
The 시군구 (for example 강남구). For 세종, which has no 시군구, the city is 세종특별자치시.
Where does the detail address (상세주소) go?
Into the second address line (address2). The search button asks for it after the shopper picks an address.
Can addresses be written in English?
Yes: in the extension settings choose the address language (Korean or English). English uses the English names in the government database; building names exist in Korean only, so they are left out.
What does the app store about my shoppers?
No names, addresses, phones or emails, and not the search text. See the Privacy policy.
Where do the addresses come from?
the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (행정안전부) road-name address database, business.juso.go.kr, held in our own database.
What happens if I uninstall?
Your sessions are deleted and the subscription fields are cleared. Your store record is deleted when Shopify sends the shop redact request.
